Heads up: minor updates to the community rules/info

Seasonal Spuffy has been around for a while now. :) Some of the information in our community profile was more a piece of cultural heritage than it was an accurate description of how the community works these days. So we cleaned the rules up a bit to make things less confusing, especially for new participants. We hope it helps!

While we were at it, we made only one substantial addition. The below rule is new. Many participants have already been following it as an unwritten rule (thank you!); we hope the rest of you will understand what we're trying to accomplish and won't find it too bothersome.

(10) If you plan to repost your entry to public archives such as Archive of Our Own or Elysian Fields, we’d appreciate if you waited at least one day before reposting, after you’ve posted here. If you want to be extra good to us, consider waiting until the end of the round. This will give readers more reason to come to us and help keep the community active. Thank you! Posting on your own journal or website is fine any time, of course.

All the other changes are either clarity edits or bringing the rules up to date with how we actually do things. Nothing else is really new. However, I wanted to give you the chance to make sure for yourself before signup begins, so that you're positive what you're signing up for. :) To that end, feel free to head to our profile page or read a summary of changes right here under the cut:

1. We've rearranged the rules/info into five sections: What We Post Here, When We Post, How to Post, Please Be Nice, and Other Info. We hope this will help find specific information more quickly, compared to the sequence that was.

2. Rule 2 was reworded and re-formatted slightly to make it easier to notice what the point is (entries should be newly made).

3. The contact email, should you ever need it, is now sspuffy@gmail.com.

4. Some sentences were moved around in rule 13 and 16, and a sentence was moved from 1 to 6.

5. Edits for accuracy and painstaking clarity:

- there is more than one mod;

- Seasonal Spuffy does not run year round;

- there can be more than one free-for-all day, and they're for anyone, not just for people who miss their posting days;

- it's explicitly okay for banner artists to reuse work they've submitted to the banner contest (though we hope they don't reuse the winning banner while we are still using it);

- participants choose posting dates, mods don't assign dates willy nilly;

- currently, it's technically not necessary to be a member of the comm in order to participate.
