A/N: This is pretty much just Spike and Buffy looking gorgeous together. There are two versions of this manip - the one with the "natural" coloring and then the one I went a bit arty with.

As for Buffy's hair I actually made her blond first, but then thought about it and decided to try if I could make the dark hair work. I'm glad you like the results!

I know my opinion about this is anything but objective, but to me the color splash in the corner was the thing that made this pic work. It brings the much needed contrast to it, makes the details and the darker colors stand out better.

Awww. You're so very kind. I'm happy to hear that brunette Buffy/Sarah works for you. In the first version of this manip she was actually blond, but after giving it some consideration I ended up trying the darker hair instead.

Thanks! And I so agree with you both! To me the said splash of color in the corner is the element that makes this pic work. It provides the much needed contrast without which nothing would stand out properly.

Very nice. I sort of like the natural one. It's as if they are shadowed at night especially with that bright neon-like corner.

I was sort of caught between the choices of posting these both and posting only one of them (which just might've been the not-so-natural-one), but then I thought that there's enough difference in the colors as well as the atmosphere to justify the presence of them both.

Favorite Nauturals because of the nice neon effect translating down into the whole picture via Buffy's pin-stripping. Waaaay cool ;-)

Oooh, wow, look at those! Niiiiice! :D The arty one most certainly works better when it comes to a format this small. Not that I'm surprised, though - I've done a couple of icons of my manips and always ended up changing the colors and most of all brightening them up in order to make them work. The brighter the better, I reckon, as far as the icons go.

I like them both, but I think the top one with the bolder coloring is my favorite - it pops more. Great base again - the red border on Buffy's jacket adds a really nice touch.

I'm so glad you decided to take part in the community. I know how difficult it can be. I felt kind of rushed myself this round - my own fault, of course. I can't imagine if I couldn't access my stuff and had a deadline coming up! Yikes! I love your contributions and again, am so glad you took part.

You pretty much took the words out of my mouth with that one. I actually spent a good while contemplating whether or not to post them both or only the one with the bolder coloring, but I guess I just ended up giving in to my irresoluteness and dodged the decision making altogether. That being said I still think that there's enough difference in the colors and the atmosphere and whatnot to justify the presence of them both. Or that's what I keep telling myself, anyway... *g*
