It's that time again! The Fall 2022 round of Seasonal Spuffy starts on Monday, November 14, and runs through Tuesday, November 28, on LiveJournal and Dreamwidth. (That's Autumn for some English-speakers, and Spring for Antipodeans, BTW.)

The theme for this round is One Hell of a Ride. As always, the theme exists to inspire, not limit. You are free to interpret the theme however you wish or do your own thing instead. The choice is yours!

Sign up for a posting day by choosing a day in the schedule and leaving a comment on this post. (Login is not necessary for that; if you don't see the comment button, keep scrolling.) Posting days are claimed on a first-come, first-served basis. If the days fill up, additional days will be added to the schedule. If we're lucky enough to fill those days, too, people will be allowed to share days.

We're also offering three free-for-all days: November 28 and November 29, as well as Thursday November 24, because while by no means every Spuffy creator is American, Buffy took the feast very seriously, making a bear for it.

On the free-for-all days, anybody may post without signup, as long as they do it the Seasonal Spuffy way.

Plan to create an original, never-before-posted Spike/Buffy fanwork to share with the community! :) We welcome all kinds of fic, art, and other fanworks. WIPs are okay, and so are crossovers. For the few formats that are impossible to get into a LiveJournal/Dreamwidth post, posting a link is fine.

Please check the rules before you begin. Most are fairly standard, but be aware we don't accept all-human AUs. All-penguin AUs, however, are enthusiastically welcomed. (Other bizarre AUs might be negotiable. Just saying.)

The spring 2017 round will start on Friday, April 28 and run until Sunday, May 14. We have plugged in some FREE-FOR-ALL dates, as well. Posting dates for this round will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

The 20th Round of Seasonal Spuffy is coming right up!

The assigned posting dates for this round will be Sunday, May 1 through Tuesday, May 31. That's the entire month of May! Posting dates for this round will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. To sign up for your very own posting day, click on this link and comment with your preferred day. Our theme this round is A New Era! It was suggested by

the_moonmoth, who thought that a new decade of the community could mark a fresh start for Buffy and Spike. As always, creators are free to use the theme for inspiration or to go off in their own direction.

I think it would be nice to honor the past by having each poster use inspiration from a post from the past 10 seasons. Everyone can go through all the entries and when they post their new entry they can link to their inspiration from the past. That way we can celebrate the past and the present at the same time.
