I had lost my password for this site, and I was tired and didn't want to mess with it, so I initially posted this comment on Livejournal. But I got the password reset, so I'm copying my comment over here.

Such a great vid! I saved it on Youtube cause I'm sure I'll want to watch it more than once. :)

I loved the way you used effects in the vid. The ones you chose, like the lines that suggested an analogue screen, the digital distortions like you sometimes get when streaming, etc, made me think of the act of watching. How Spike and Buffy watch each other strip (and be stripped of) the layers of pretense and self-defense. And of course, strip their clothes occasionally. And how we as fans watch them and watch them watch each other. We're kind of the third, unseen presence in the relationship, bringing our own meaning to it.

Haha, maybe I'm way off. But that was the kind of thing that was going through my head anyway.

Also, great song choice. A perfect blend of sinister and sensual. Depeche Mode at their best. :)

Also, I think I didn't really pay enough attention to the banner last night. It's also beautiful! I love the screens with little gifs of key Spuffy moments. Very on theme and a very cool effect! And the banner overall has a very stylish and striking appearance. Amazing.
