Title: Buffy and the Dalek Slayers
Author: Miss Murchison
Rating: Won't get past PG, and that only for one vague joke
Word count: About 4000 when complete.
Summary: This is a sequel to Who's the Doctor? and Where's the Doctor?, my previous BtVS/Doctor Who crossovers.
This one involves the Seventh Doctor and his companion Ace. Chapter One is here.
I'm down to the wire with this. Mr. M's PC died and he had to use mine to finish some work for his job, and paying the mortgage still has to come before fanfic. But I've regained custody of my laptop for the evening and should be able to get all the chapters up before midnight.
"There are over a dozen of those buggers, digging their way down through the old gym." Spike described the site for the Doctor's benefit. "What looks like a spaceship is parked there. Looks like it's been through the Demolition Derby."
The Doctor nodded. "Exactly as I thought. They are trying to siphon off enough energy to repair and refuel."
Spike snarled. "So, how do we kill those bloody machines?"
"Actually," the Doctor contributed, "They're not entirely machines. Inside each one is a Kaled, a sort of blobby creature from the planet Skaro. A very interesting life form actually, bio-mechanically engineered by Davros, a mad genius…
Buffy tuned out his lecture as she pondered possibilities. Her stakes and swords were useless here, there was no time to call in the Scooby gang for research, and it wasn't as if Spike could bite the Daleks…

"They're not that hard to kill. You just have to hit them square in the eyestalk with a shot from a nice, big gun." Ace reached back and pulled out her baseball bat. "A few whacks with this don't hurt either. Or, rather, they do hurt. The Dalek. So I have to find the Doctor. He needs me to guard his back."
"I think I know where you lost him. It sounds like you and these Daleks wandered near the old high school." Dawn grinned. "And I know where my sister hid her rocket launcher so I wouldn't find it."
"And I've got some Nitro 9 back in the TARDIS. . ."
