It's like the icon says...

The wonderful snickfic reminded me that fall is here, and I hadn't done anything about a new round of seasonal_spuffy. To be honest, it hadn't crossed my mind, as I have mostly left the Jossverse behind.

So, as amazing as running seasonal_spuffy has been, and it has been an amazing experience, I think it's time for me to hand over the reins. snickfic is willing to run the Fall '10 round, but I need a volunteer to take the community over full time. (*psst* If you're not a writer, but you'd like to participate and enjoy organizing things, this is the job for you!)

Duties include: making mod posts, smacking (the very occasional) trolls, scheduling people, and loving Spuffy. Helpful skills include: making spreadsheets and polls, and actually remembering to have a round of Spuffy-ness every six months or so. Those without a fondness for seasonal_spuffy need not apply.

I'm going to screen comments to protect the names of the innocent, and I'll edit this post when I've got someone. If there are a lot of volunteers, it'll be first come, first served.

Thanks to everyone for their participation, their kindnesses, and for being such a fantastic community.

Thank you so much for doing this as long as you have. Without your work, we would have missed so much wonderful fic. But, I can tell that you've moved on to other fandoms and it would be unfair of us to expect you to keep us in fic. :) Here's hoping someone equally organized and committed steps forward to take over the reins. (And "yay" to snickfic for doing the next round.)
