2008-04-07 03:03 (UTC)Then it can just be Buffy and Spike. With, you know, a hat and a stick! :-)
Glad you like this one, too - thank you!

2008-04-07 03:05 (UTC)Yes, it's from the Dresden Files. The artist has done some wonderful work, and it was fun to try to manip it.

2008-04-06 21:42 (UTC)I love the Dresden Files, but I've never seen that cover before. The manip is really beautiful not to mention mind-tingling. You've done fantastic job with the blending - it's simply flawless and so is the rest of the manip, too. Fantabulous work!

2008-04-07 03:21 (UTC)The main pic - Spike and the background - are from a Dresden cover. The girl is from another one of the artist's book covers. She's holding a cross bow - which would have been perfect to leave in, but I liked the fog too much, so I sacrified it.
I was happier with an earlier version I had done. But after letting it sit for a couple of days, I decided Buffy's head looked a tad too big and I redid. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like I got quite the match to the body skin that I had in the first one. I was kind of bummed, but didn't have more time to mess with it.
This was, by far, the most complicated of the things I posted today and I'm glad you think it works. Thank you!
