I'm kind of bummed that the quality of the bases for this one were not the best, 'cause I think this dress is unbelievably gorgeous. And timeless. Still, I enjoyed working with this piece, and hope you like it as well.

I've got to say, I absolutely love all the manips you've posted up! They're all very well done and just gorgeous. One thing that I noticed, is that you have a tendency to make Buffy a brunette in a lot of these - and I kind of like it. Most manippers steer away from that, but I think it looks great. Plus, it adds that little extra sense of possibility that makes Alternate Universes with our favorite couple so fun to imagine. Thanks for sharing!

Huh. It's funny - I hadn't really, consciously anyway, thought about it. When I first started collecting bases, I know I was always looking for blondes for Buffy, but obviously, somewhere along the line, I decided not to let a little thing like dark hair stop me if I really wanted to use a particular base. Perhaps it was seeing so many photos of SMG with dark hair after Buffy ended. (She seems to be blonde again in some of the most recents photos I've seen, though.)

On the other hand, I can't imagine manipping Dawn as a blonde. Go figure. :-)

You're right about the AU stuff - it does kind of open up possibilities.

Beautiful! I love the black and white... it adds a certain sophistication, and certainly adds to the timelessness you spoke of. And you're right, that dress is *gorgeous*! I love the feeling of future and possibility.
