2006-10-15 05:47 (UTC)I really love how you constructed the story for this; I never realized just HOW well the song would work for them. Lady you are just too good!
Well, I have a hunch you maybe knew which vid it was gonna be.
ummmm, ya, I kinda did!

2006-10-15 06:03 (UTC)It was fun to make something a little sweeter. It's sort of like the child of the other two Spuffy vids I made. A little more adult than Sorry, but not quite as bleak as One Last Time, hee.
I gotta say though, at the halfway mark I was about ready to beg someone else to finish it for me. I really wanted to watch the rest of it, but trying to decide which choice to make anymore was overwhelming. There are a ton of possible vids in this song. Some probably better than others, but still. ;D Plus who knows what vid this would have been if I'd had time for a beta.
And I'm still tickled you gave me so many fun ideas to play with. Can you tell from the fact that I've done three of them now and other people haven't had their one done yet? ;} ::is kinda shameless::

2006-10-15 06:17 (UTC)I HAD to give them to you... otherwise they would never get done! Although that Dick Casablancas idea is calling to me in a big way, but I want to see where this season goes with him first.
Now I feel all bad for those who have yet to get their vid... okay, I'm done! :P I get over guilt very quickly when it comes to vids!
The clip I was referring to was the one where Spike is going through Buffy's dresser and smells her sweater. It would repeat in my head over and over when this song would play on the radio, and is what made me designate it a Spuffy song.
Also, I don't know how anyone can successfully beta your work! After the experience I had with you on God Is A DJ, I think that the process goes something like this: You show the beta a vid and they say "FABULOUS!", and then you take it back, change things, and show it to them again... and they say "FABULOUS!". You repeat these same steps a few times, and then you release the vid.

2006-10-15 06:44 (UTC)I was thinking the same thing--about this season, I mean. Well, and also that the idea rocks. I will make sure to leave that till last. ;D And to bug you to make it. 'Cause I would *love* to see it.
As soon as I replied to the other comment, I went, "Oh, the sweater! She means the sweater!" Hee. I actually tried to smush that somewhere other than on that lyric just for fun, but there is no stripping the goofy off that clip. In fact, I think that whole scene through twice even with no sound because the sniffing cracks me up so much.

LOL--it's not *that* hard. God Is A DJ was just such a cool idea that there were plenty of shades of fabulous to go around. ;}

2006-10-15 06:07 (UTC)Favorite moments:
0:00 - 0:03 The billiard balls hitting and sinking to the keyboard notes - what a neat way to start things off. It made me smile right away!
0:22/0:39 - The parallel with Buffy's front door and how you used it.
0:52 - Spike reaching out for Buffy and helping her up. ALL the old Spuffy love came rushing back in that moment!
2:21 - Spike's hand coming into view... awwwww!
2:22 - Did Buffy just bounce to the tambourine?
2:29 - 2:31 Buffy turning Spike around and throwing him to the sound of the keyboard.

Thanks so much for sharing! :)
