You know, I actually considered using it, but then I decided to go with Season 6 only, and I kind of relate "My Vampire Heart" to "Beneath You", so I ended up cutting it.

Oh man, I absolutely LOVE Tom McRae! I always think of Spike when I listen to "Hidden Camera Show"... that song is totally his.

I hadn't thought of "For The Restless" for S5 though... that might be because I actually relate that song with The X-Files. Heh. I do this a lot. :)

Hee. I'm actually a glorified "newbie" to BtVS, because I've only started watching it by the time S6 started. But I mainlined the whole series in a couple of months just so I could be up to date by the time OMWF aired. :)

Oh, this is an excellent selection. Several of these I already had and have heard many times over... however, I hadn't really been paying attention to the lyrics in a Spuffy mindset. It hits me that the degree to which they suit is kind of shocking. Particularly Fiona Apple's "Fast As You Can." I mean... it doesn't get more relevant than that. It's a perfect show of the cycle Buffy goes through in season six. Right to the very end, where she's just on the verge of breaking through all this crap and coming out stronger on the other side.

Oh man, YES. "Fast As You Can" is one of those songs that you gotta really wonder if it's isn't just a bit too coincidental. Because it surely matches Buffy's mindset for S6. I do this sort of relating-music-to-fictional-characters a lot... in fact I've been doing this FOR YEARS. But it's hard to find one that matches so perfectly.

Yeah, I didn't exactly selected obscure never-before-heard songs here. Mostly it's stuff I either listened *while* S6 was happening or that I used in icons over and over and over. Still, it's a good musical selection. :)
