Every season is the right season for Spuffy.

How 'bout February? Or maybe mid-January into mid-March, like this season's is October into December.

Yes, I do live to be difficult... but it would give us all our fix, while giving the people voting for later more time to get their submissions ready. (Or, if there is a drop-off in likely participants, for whatever reason, it could be just February or February into March.) Much as it'd be nice to start off the New Year with Spuffy on January first, it might make it easier for people to participate if it started around the 15th or something.

Starting sign-ups before this season ends might make an earlier start more feasible... of course, there are still plenty of people who haven't gone yet this time, so they might be less open to signing up for a second time already. Maybe have a long sign-up window, like last time? I think that helped fill the slots (and gave me time to dither over when I wanted to go).
