I love so many little things about this. "She's seen Slayers die after her. No Slayer should see that." The slap-kiss; a very Buffy reaction to Spike's particular brand of stupid. Buffy telling Spike to "Be knightly!" - I could hear her saying it. Buffy just standing there on the chess board, unable to move, and not at all sure what was good for them and what was bad. Spike being calm beforehand and freaking out afterward. And of course, the idea that the have a future now - together.
