I love the bits of old-fashioned Spike showing through on this, both the sincerely straightforward (in my day...), and the self mocking (I should be delighted...). And poor, tired Buffy —she may carry the weight of the world, but anybody can understand this little rebellion about the day-to-day drudgery.
