thank you! I was really apprehensive about this one, because it's so easy to vid Spike POV and take it to that 'unrequited love' basic level, but there are so many more levels with both of them.

It's hard to portray a Buffy POV because when it comes to Spike, it's kind of this internal struggle that happens so subtly on screen that you can't just point your finger at one thing, hence the voice overs I used. But her love for him is there, and it's deep, but it's quiet, not so in your face, and this song with the buildup and the slow down and the slow melodies followed by loud unexpected drums really parallels how Buffy feels about Spike in my opinion, a lot of the time it's in the background and it's quietness and lingering looks, and other times it's this unexpected burst of emotion she can't hold in anymore.
