I am convinced that there is a multitude who could write fantastic mpreg if they, you know, wanted to. *g* Alas, there are only we undaunted few.
I'm especially glad that this came across as believable, as I worried that the whole "the shanshu did it!" explanation would come off as pretty hand-wavy. (Confession: it is hand-wavy. I just don't care very much about the mechanics in this piece. *g*)
