I meant to comment as I read. I really did. But I couldn't bring myself to stop reading. I love that you tweaked one small thing and then the consequences spread out in a believable way. Wesley doesn't steal Connor, but Angel & co still have tangible issues and fallout to deal with; Buffy gets to a better place, but she's not suddenly fixed; and Buffy and Spike's relationship grows in a way that feels very real. Loved, loved, loved it! Great job!
