Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Spike's got layers, which is why we like him. One layer is his Victorian upbringing, and another is his embrace of the modern. Getting the mix right is the challenge for us, and a big part of why it's fun to write him.
The actual vows just jumped out at me when I was doing the research for this. I'd never seen them before, but they seemed so applicable to Buffy and Spike's situation. It's interesting to find the specific in the general.
Of course Lorne is the best possible officiant at a happy occasion! He always brings the love!
