Hi again. I don't think Spike would say 'doxy.' It's a very old-fashioned word. I know poor old Wesley got stuck with saying it at some point in the show, but I think that was in his bumbling, pre-cool Wesley persona, and even then it struck me as very odd, and unlikely that he would say it.
I think you're right that Spike would want to keep up with the insults and make sure he knew the latest ones, but this one seems more of a 'niche' insult, if you see what I mean, rather than one that would be known to the general populace.
