Of course it was a hard fought reunion and it's all the sweeter for the fight. Spike and Buffy push buttons like nobody's business. It hurts that Buffy turns to Angel, just like Spike expected, but it seems the two needed to work through their fairy tale romance once and for all before Buffy could face facts that her stupid vampire needs to be her stupid vampire. Nicely done.
There's something missing here: For one brief moments when she [ ] Angel, it had lessened, but then when she looked over his shoulder and didn’t see the familiar shock of bleached hair, it all came rushing back.
