That story was wonderful. I read it all in one go! Your voices were perfect. Your Xander was great. I really think he grew up a lot in season 7 so it is nice to see a little maturity after the initial xanderisms of course. He he. Dawn's grief was dealt with in a very believeable way and I cheered when she kicked Giles in the shin. Considering what Buffy did to Wood Giles really got off lightly but I guess the emotional detachment and the coolness would hurt him a lot more than any physical retribution. Buffy's pain was palpable and I thought that you wrote her so well. Spike's inital reticence in believing her declaration was heartrending for both of them and I am so glad that he believed her in the end when he stopped to think how he got back from hell. Of course then you had to off and let him die anyway like in cannon but at least he knows she loves him. Wonderful! Thank you for the read.
