Thank you. Truthfully, I didn't even consider making the demon baby a nightmare – I added a brief line at some point as a misdirect, but this fic was always going to be about Buffy having an evil baby.
Of course, it was also about Buffy and Spike seeing all the evidence that it was evil, and finally choosing to go with the idea that maybe it wasn't, so I'm happy that I managed to surprise you with the ending. :-)
