seasonal spuffy

Amazingly good, and terribly sad. You create so many ways for it to hurt. It hurts Spike that he thinks Monster was all him, but worse that it was about how she felt for him. This Spike has truly been ground down to his core. It's almost worse that he wobbles and almost goes after her, but doesn't; almost believes, but can't sustain it. It's like watching a candle struggle to stay lit, but eventually gutter and snuff out.

I should give more detail, but no more brain today.
