I'm totally engrossed in the story, and I start to get Very Bad Premonitions. The baby is calles"parasite"... Buffy craves blood... a ritual to ensure that the baby’s born a monster...
OTOH, the dialogs are sparkling with humor and the characters are written perfectly.
“Are we talking about blood or semen?” asked Anya. “Because mystical babies are picky on body fluids, and the difference could be important.”
Buffy eyes widened. “Blood! Just blood!” She almost expected Spike to point out that she’d never objected to swallowing that before, either
