I have re-read "Unsuffer Me" and am folowing this sequel. Spike is really at loose ends - missing his DeSoto and needing a barber and smokes and his leather coat!
“Do you love me?” Buffy rubbed her eyes. “I could,” she finally said. “If you gave me time.” This is a much clearer picture of Buffy-Riley breakup.
Of course, the attraction between Buffy and Spike doesn't need much encouragement.
