Wonderful story. Maybe I'm overanalyzing, but I have the impression that in this fic you wanted to reflect on fandom wanks and wars.
I haven't read the latest Angel comics issues in which he has to deal with his newly-found celebrity status. But the idea is fascinating, and your story explores the "shippy" aspect of celebrity culture in a series of convincing (yet surrealistic) situations.
