Yes, it is awful, but Buffy has a hard time letting go (or that's how I see her, anyway). And yes, Willow is quite rightfully worried about her, never mind what this might do to their timeline.
I'm glad you liked both Buffys; I tried hard to give them the feel of the same person, even though they're so separated by years and experience. :D Thank you so much!
