A very promising start, indeed. I particularly liked your Buffy voice, both in narration and dialogue.

She was officially the suckiest role model ever.

"Oh, God," Buffy groaned. "Another one? And I just got finished replacing my wardrobe."

Hee! This is so very Buffy, and so true.

I liked the Droog, too, particularly his enthusiasm and straightforwardness.

"Practice," it said. "For apocalypse! Next Tuesday."

*snicker* I'm a bit surprised they let it go... without trying to find out more about the apocalypse, anyway.
