ETA 3/14/06: Due to creeps hotlinking and reposting without credit, I've had to take these pictures down. I'm really sorry if you didn't get the chance to see them.
Fer
I had too much fun doing photo stories this past summer for
summer_of_spike, and I couldn't resist doing one more. With apologies to David Fury, I present (hopefully for your amusement) my version of "Crush" (5x14), rated PG:
*dial-up users, beware*
Spike's telling nasty coal bin tales to an impressionable and open-mouthed Dawn. Buffy shows up, ruins the story and drags Dawn away. Dawn protests because Spike's not eeevil, he's a hottie with cool hair, cool leather coats and several attractive outfits--that mysteriously disappear after this episode! But, Dawn sighs, Spike could never notice her jailbait self anyway. Not with Buffy around.

Buffy is a bit gobsmacked by this revelation. She brings it up to a choking-with-laughter-at-the-thought-because-he's-jealous Xander the next day while they're on the death train, a crime scene that evidently anyone can walk through--and sit on.
Buffy's flustered further when she finds Spike in her kitchen, laughing at an incomprehensible Joyce story. Spikeasks Buffy out tells Buffy about new vamps in town who might have killed the train people. He drives. Glances are exchanged. A flask is retrieved and offered. There is singing.

Spike admits to ulterior motives and Buffy doth protest too much, telling him no feelings and no 'we'! Spike tilts his head.
After storming out, Buffy discusses the situation with Joyce and Willow and decides to nip Spike's bud. She goes to his crypt to look for him, but discovers something truly sinister...

Buffy emerges from the Slayer Shrine and a newly arrived, bad influence, slightly crispy Drusilla zaps her with a cattle prod. Then Spike turns the prod on Dru.
Buffy awakens in chains. Kinky. Spike professes his love for Buffy and offers to stake Drusilla, also tied up, to prove his intentions.

Buffy is not impressed.

Then Harmony shows up and woo, we've got a party!

Tussles occur. Spike releases Buffy. Dru frets and leaves and Harmony smacks her own behind before backing out of the crypt. Spike tilts his head. Buffy punches it.
Spike follows Buffy home, telling her what's between them is real (but just a season too soon). He's in her life; he's in the opening credits.

But Buffy, who has asked Willow to dis-invite Spike, does just that, slamming the door in Spike's sad face. Millions of fangirls want to cuddle him as the screen goes black.
Unfortunately, that's all I've got. RL can be a demanding beyotch at times. So glad I could be a part of this, even in this small way.
