For some reason, Spike neglecting himself when he's all depressed, while not necessarily>/i> canon, seems pretty in character. So many post-The Gift fics deal with him all drained (bad pun, I'm sorry) of sustanence and I really can't refute that. He jsut seems that sort of guy -- too much emotional stress and he just can't really cope.
And sequel, I totally do want to! I'll be posting the next little bit (it's a little little bit -- and I apologise for the pun that you will get when you read it) today and then hopefully I'll just keep going, so thank you for the encouragement!
