Smug *g*. Yep. Why's he all covered in the Slayer now? Because he's not Dru's old Spike. Was v pleased when I worked out it didn't have to be a total AU (though I wish Spike had helped Buffy more in the fight in Becoming - would have been a more satisfying end. Still, baby steps).
