New and Improved Header/Tagging Info Post

Welcome, Spuffyites, to the lucky 13th round of seasonal_spuffy! To help keep our comm all organized and beautiful, we've got some header and tagging guidelines for y'all. They're pretty much the same as the old LJ guidelines, but with a couple of extra notes.

Headers
For the sanity for the masterlister (that'd be me) and the tag wranglers, please include the following info in the header at the top of your post:

• title
  
• author/creator
  
• era/season/setting (when posting fic)
  
• rating (when posting fic)
  
• genre (examples: amnesia, baby/kid/parent fic, crossover, holiday, post-apocalyptic, shanshu!Spike, time travel, vamped character, Wishverse)

Tagging
The comm has tags for the following categories:

• creator (creator: yourusername with your DW username if you have one and LJ username if you don't)
  
  
• form (form: banner/wallpaper/manip, form: fanmix, form: fic, form: icon, form: other art, form: poetry, form: vid)
  
  
• era (era: ats s5, era: btvs s1,..., era: btvs s7, era: comics canon, era: indeterminate, era: post-series, era: pre-series)
  
  
• rating (rating: nc-17, rating: other)
  
  
• genre - for fic if applicable (genre: amnesia, genre: baby/kid/parent fic, genre: crossover, genre: holiday, genre: post-apocalyptic, genre: shanshu!Spike, genre: time travel, genre: vamped character, genre: wishverse)

For example, say I want to tag my S7 Christmas fic, which is all UST but has no sex, and also includes a character from Supernatural. I'd tag it like so:

creator: snickfic, form: fic, rating: other, era: btvs s7, rating: other, genre: holiday, genre: crossover

Please note that while all of these tags are available for use, they are not all visible because they haven't been used yet. However, they should auto-fill into the tag field as you type them.

Everyone who has signed up for this round already has an author tag created for them using their DW username if they have one or their LJ username if they don't. If you have suggestions for other tags, feel free to PM me or drop a comment here.

All that said, if you're a little nervous about this tagging business, feel free to leave your post untagged, and I'll come along and tag it later.
