Oooh, shiny. Whatever you did to make Buffy's hair dark, it really works with the composition of this picture. And I like Spike/JM's look in this too, all intense and supernatural and washed out.

I'm almost afraid to know what the graphic is on Spike's shirt. Is that a guy with his heart taken out... ?

Would you believe that was actually the colour of her hair in the pic. Not sure, but I think this is a pic from SMG before she took on the role as Buffy. Looking at her like this I really don't get why she dyed her hair, the black makes her stand out much much more than the blond.

I thought that might be it, but I didn't know her hair was that dark. Maybe it was black-and-whiteness that made it look black.

And I think the blonde thing was because of Joss Whedon's original idea – that he wanted the little blonde girl in the alley that's usually killed by the monster to kill the monster instead. Hence, blondeness.
