I don't envy Riley the position he's in. He can't help but sound stupid and heartless when he doesn't have all the facts. And now he's making Dawn feel like it's all her fault. *pets her*

I love how Dawn is able to glean information from little hints re: the chip and Spike leaving. She IS the scholar in the family, isn't she?
