I just watched "Who Are You?" as #28 on the Buffy Fan Fave marathon on Logo a few hours ago, so this compression with the shocking & inspired take on the fight, getting back to the central question of the ep, absolutely won me over. Employing the link with Joyce, drawing her more closely in & providing that as a springboard for comprehension between our couple is also one of those particularly appropriate combinations that might've been exploited but wasn't.

And having the reversal of the moment in "The Gift" when Spike sees Buffy lying crumpled on the ground was very deftly thought out.

And again demonstration that Spuffy just brings out the best in the imagination . . .
