Very well done. I love Spike's and Buffy's voices - I find Buffy's especially realistic, with that last little bit of wanting something she logically realizes she probably doesn't want at all, but can't quite let go of. I think all of us hold something in our hearts in that way, the might-have-been that could've been all right but probably isn't as good as what we actually have. And I do understand her resentment at not being part of the decision (she is a bit of a control freak, after all!).
