Yay, thank you!

You know, as I told someone up-thread, I'm really quite fond of Junior, with Arnold and Danny DeVito and Emma Thompson (whom I fangirl madly anyway). It has some nice moments of genuine emotion in it, I think, and it does a pretty good job of grounding its high-concept storyline with sympathetic, not-entirely-cliched characters. Also I think Arnold is severely underrated as a comedic actor.

I think the likeliest place for a concept like this to turn up in a serious way would be in SF, whether TV or lit, and in fact mpreg shows up in written SF periodically, although mostly in the background, at least in the books I've read.

As for Joss, feh. I have enough issues with the way the women's pregnancies were handled on Ats that I don't know that I'd have wanted anyone on the team to try their hand at mpreg, although I'd agree with you in theory. "Expecting" would have been the obvious place to have some mpreg, it seems to me; that ep could hardly have gotten any crackier than it already was. I cannot imagine it would have been very *good* mpreg, though.

It is possible that I have thought about all this waaaay too much. *g*
