Actually, that's a very great compliment to me that you didn't take the happy ending for granted. Sometimes I do love fics where things don't work out the way you want them to, just to shake your fannish expectations up. Most fics, I go into them knowing that everything will turn out okay. The fact that you thought I might go there pleases me greatly.
