Spike coming back all shattered and remorseful into this mess is already an intriguing premise and you're handling it really well so far. He's hanging on to himself by a thread and it seems Buffy's in the same boat with extra added stress and uncertainty of a mystical pregnancy and uncertain future. You have me sympathizing with them both.

The gang vilifying both the baby and its father is just adding to the chaos. It feels like there's no place for either Buffy or Spike to be quiet and collect themselves.
