Oh, geez. I don't know how I missed this wonderful piece, except that maybe I was working on my own submission and got behind in my reading. [insert look of guilt here!]
This is FANTASTIC, on so many levels. The shifting narrative voices technique works really well; the characters all really ring true here (who knew that Amanda was *that* curious? But still, totally plausible! *g*), and what's most fascinating as I think on it is that not only are you shifting voices, you are also moving forward chronologically. That's *a lot* of balls to be juggling, but you do it just beautifully, without faltering once.
And the emotional wallop of Faith's installment! *sigh* I'm sort of at a loss for words on that, but it's heartbreakingly satisfying to imagine that Buffy was forever changed by her relationship with Spike, even if it ended there in the Hellmouth.
