I have melted into a puddle of happiness. Why don't people write (good) babyfic all the time? I know! You don't happen to have any good recs, do you?
I kinda loved having him call her Charlie. And I wonder if he might think of Gunn affectionately in doing it sometimes.
Spike playing Big Bad with his daughter is the single cutest thing I have ever read in my life. I want to die of happiness. I thought up that scene as I was going to bed and it was too perfect to let go. I had to get up and write it, then I started writing more and I was like "ah, hell here comes five more drabbles and why not! It's still my day to post."
Oh my goodness. I can imagine this exchange so easily. And of course any child raised by Spike would want to look just like him, helmet hair and all. I love the image of Spike hiding the scissors! This was actually something based on me. When I was about to get my first haircut as a kid, my aunt asked me what I wanted and I pulled my bangs up off my forehead, covering the top of my head with my hands and said, "hair like Daddy!" ...my Dad's been bald since before I was born, btw. :)
Chicken pox seemed like such a perfect way to go. And hee! They are lucky to have Spike doting over them.
Soooo Spike. :D
I think I am now dead from overdosing on adorable. So much love. Yay! I'm glad you liked it all. And as always, thank you for ah-mahzing feedback!
