I'm surprised and sort of humbled that you think this ficlet is one of my best pieces. It often seems to be the case that the pieces I put the least conscious effort into are my strongest. I think stress can sometimes poison my writing. Good thing Laura and Pass told me my original fic for SS wasn't working. I'm pretty happy with my stress free contribution.
