I love post Buffy or post Angel stories where Buffy finds out that Spike is still alive or undead. But in this case he is really alive. This story has my interest for sure. I like that Spike has a good life and is making a living off being a writer. Seeing Spike's name as John takes some getting use to. LOL

I can't wait to see how Buffy manages to start taking to him. Buffy making sure she looks good was funny. From reading the comments above a couple suspect that Spike's friend may be trouble. I don't sense that at all. Of course I can be totally wrong. But I would hate to see a good friend of Spike cause any trouble for Spike.
