I feel a strong influence of Dollhouse here. Have you consciously used this twist as a homage, or ot just happened?

Oh definitely. I think the parallels are naturally there to pick up and play with. Especially with the Bot. This story was actually prompted by a request from aisalynn who really liked the Decoy in TYSK and wanted to see more of her. I jokingly offered to write her "Buffy, the Decoy and the Bot: the Kinkiest Threeway Spike Didn't Know He Had Coming" for Seasonal Spuffy, but this is what came out. ;)
