This was fabulous! Buffy's little introspection was very well written and it fitted in season 6. I've always thought she had metaphorically turned into a vampire after Willow brought her back and that she was actually beating herself through her punching Spike in "Dead Things", so your take on the "aftermaths" is spot on. First Buffy is action girl, all fists and spits, and then she starts thinking and eventually sees herself as the predator she's become ––self-reflection happening thanks to the one who's been watching her for a while and then has mirrored her behaviour, that is Warren. It works very well.
