This is an intriguing premise, and it was well handled. I enjoyed the opening scene. Buffy letting the accents on television soothe her was melancholy and believably put her in the right mind set to approach Willow. The emotional reaction of past!Buffy was engaging, and I'm left wondering how this all would change canon. Future!Buffy's sadness post-spell left me thinking that, ultimately, nothing changed, but maybe that's just my glass half empty cynicism.
