Oh my. I got to this story from jamalov29's page. I saw the quote she used, and it was so beautiful that I had to come read the rest of the story. This is an amazing scene. I haven't read the rest of your series, so I don't know your portrayal of William, but Buffy's difficulty with dealing with mature love is so like what I deal with in coaching my clients that it resonated. Hard. I wish I had clients who were Buffy fans. I'd make them all read this story.
