Buffy's boneheaded reaction to Spike in Cleveland, worrying that he hated her for saving him without the soul, was in character. These two never just sit down and have an adult conversation. They're always talking at cross purposes. It's very entertaining. Dawn snarking and "keeping it real" is charming. Off to the last part!
