I love the reversal in this: that she thinks HE'S the one that needs therapy following the AR. And it's so true. Season 7 basement Spike was a basket case in part because of the AR, while she never seemed scarred by the experience. And why should she be scarred? She's the Slayer, so it's not like the incident was going to leave her feeling fearful, helpless, or vulnerable for the rest of her life. The AR made her angry, but it didn't have the power to really traumatize her. Instead, in canon, he's the one that's most damaged by the incident.
