I love the idea of Spike and Buffy breaking up for the greater good and then keeping it from family and friends. What machinations made that a necessity? Tossing the "Because he's human?" line as just a drive by was delightful. What the heck has Willow done to wrest Spike and Buffy apart? I can't wait to find out.
