What a wonderful fairy tale. Like the best ones, it's poignant and sweet, with wonderful dabs of typical humour. Both bookends work very well--a bit like my old fav, "The Princess Bride". Wouldn't this make a fun movie? I love the dialogue. YOu've done a wonderful job with this story. Thanks so much to spikeylover for recommending it.
